  • Welcome!!

    So glad you're here! I'd like to tell you a bit about myself. I have been married to my wonderful husband for 18 years and we have two beautiful daughters, ages 13 and 15. I attended Columbia College and received a degree in Graphic Design. I worked as a graphic design manager for 7 years at the Illinois CPA Society where I designed their Magazine INSIGHT. My love for photography was always there but had to wait...

    On April 28, 2008 my daughter who was then almost 3 was diagnosed with ALL a form of Leukemia. As you can imagine that was a life changing moment to say the least. Through all the tears and heartache of watching your daughter go through intense chemotherapy and missing out on so many things—I have learned to treasure memories even more then ever. I just love
    taking precious pictures of children and families—the idea that these pictures will be looked
    at for generations to come is such an honor to me!!

    So here I am doing something I LOVE—capturing beautiful moments!

S u m m e r F u n !!!!!

So I guess they say time flies when you’re having fun! This summer has been great! Lots of camping & family time! And super busy photo season!
Enjoyed a few beach days! And there’s been a lot of newbies lately too! YEAH

So my studio is all finished and I LOVE the results I’m getting so far! It’s so amazing NOT to have to worry about the weather! A few samples from studio below.

H a p p y H o l i d a y s!! {small biz}

Happy Holidays! Hope everyone had an amazing Thanksgiving!!!

I’m just wrapping up an extremely busy season and feeling tremendously blessed, for all the families I seen for years and all the new ones I’ve began to know! As I was going through albums to pick some to post it brought a smile to my face~ I really do have an amazing time with my clients and their families! I love to know all about you~where you live & work ~how’s grandma doing or your aunt Sally…etc.  I think that’s what makes small businesses so important today! It’s that personal touch! You’re never just another photo shoot to me~ I still get nervous and excited for every shoot I do!!! It’s my heart~my passion and I’m blessed in so many ways!

I also want to thank all of you! My wonderful understanding clients! As you know scheduling around this time of year can be a PAIN! Sure I could pay for some program to just post my openings and have clients book on their own~ but that’s where I feel like you lose that small biz feel? I want to know that your little guy plays hockey and you need this day or this time~ or that Sally naps till 12 can we do 12:30. I don’t always keep all those details together, but I do my best! And I hope that people see that as me being personable rather then behind in the times ~ with so many techy programs I’m sure there is a ton of things I could do to help my work flow~ but for now it’s working for me!!

SO today I encourage you to shop small! Small Biz day!!!! I have gift certificates available ~ buy a gift certificate of any amount and get an extra $25 added to it!!!
