  • Welcome!!

    So glad you're here! I'd like to tell you a bit about myself. I have been married to my wonderful husband for 18 years and we have two beautiful daughters, ages 13 and 15. I attended Columbia College and received a degree in Graphic Design. I worked as a graphic design manager for 7 years at the Illinois CPA Society where I designed their Magazine INSIGHT. My love for photography was always there but had to wait...

    On April 28, 2008 my daughter who was then almost 3 was diagnosed with ALL a form of Leukemia. As you can imagine that was a life changing moment to say the least. Through all the tears and heartache of watching your daughter go through intense chemotherapy and missing out on so many things—I have learned to treasure memories even more then ever. I just love
    taking precious pictures of children and families—the idea that these pictures will be looked
    at for generations to come is such an honor to me!!

    So here I am doing something I LOVE—capturing beautiful moments!

Short and sweet! Themed mini sessions are 10-15 minute session which includes a viewing gallery of 10-12 images and a digital download with print release.

Hope everyone had an amazing Thanksgiving with family and friends!!! SO much to be thankful for!!!!
It’s been a crazy busy amazing past three months and I have all my wonderful clients and friends to thank for it! I truly appreciate all your kind words and referrals!! I know there are a lot of great photographers out there these days, so it means so much!!

tis {the season}

Hey there!!!

Just want to send out a quick thank you to all the 17 families that came out to the tree farm yesterday!!! We were so lucky to have a wonderful day for it!!! I can barely walk today!!LOL
I know a few were wondering if you get the DVD or the photo gallery to download~ so till the end of the year you will receive both the download and the DVD. I send along the download as soon as it’s ready, so you will often get that before the DVD comes in the mail! Starting next year sessions with only come with the download and DVD will be an option if you’d like. Also someone asked me why I put photos on DVD vs. CD~ well it’s so you can literally put it in your DVD player and view on your TV as a slideshow. So if you’re having your kiddos birthday party or family for the holidays ~pop in those DVD’s!!
